Nice and clear now sorry about the bubbles it's good more ginger more dry it's got a bit of maltodextrin but could use a bit of more body but it's bloody good.
I also get a great lemony thing from the lemon Myrtle and kafir lime juiced.

Ginger beer with honey

This was in the keg but it got shifted to bottle...
That bit of head is from trying my rice beer residual head .
This is more body more sweet and yup I can taste the honey and smell it!

It's a good beer I've always wanted to brew ginger beer with honey sweetness for atleast 10 years now I think this is what I've been striving for.

Yummy oh it's got a higher ABV 2 % above the one at the top at 6 that one up there is a little over 4%.

Cheers all

Blue gin....

Not sure of this. Reminds me of mouth wash in colour & taste...
First time I tried blue gin (from India) I thought I had used too much washing up liquid cleaning my glasses. Nope, I definitely got something slightly soapy off it again. Botanicals? That bottle lasted ages as it was a very pale blue each time I mixed with it after that.

Chilled Oaked Apple Cider, bottled Sep 2022, ABV: 7.5%. Great body and there is a real sharp kick in with the full on sweetness. The oak is very subtle as I didn't go full tilt in that department (chippings). Unfortunately I obviously didn't prime enough and it has the slightest amount of carbonation. Still at least that wimper on opening up didn't spell the disaster I feared. The last one I tried months back was the same (apart from the maturity) but I thought the pressure might have built up just a little by now:( As it is quite strong, I may be tempted to add a little tonic. Off for some Cognac now.

I'm having a windhoek lager.
From the can.
Unusual for me not to use a glass
