A couple views of my latest amber ale. We had our home “staged” today, so all of our usual personal effects are put away. After more than 24 years here, I now feel like a stranger in our home. Will be drinking a few more tonight.

Hate to say it but I’m drinking what I think is a Russian Pilsner a friend gave me.. Its decent enough

That does not look like Russian (Cyrillic) on the label, it looks more Czech.

I had the last of my Sylla.
Disappointed as I thought it would improve with age, being high alcohol.
Foam looks good. Clear enough as well.
Sweetness is gone, which is nice, but tastes high alcoholic. Warm, I would say.
Would that be fussel alcohols?
It did give me nice rosy cheecks. Think I better have a lager or gin & tonic now

Yup maybe the sweetness over shadowed it before.
My Syla Strength has got less hot mines a little "hot" too.

Some quick research and I found out that it a Czech style of light lager brewed in St. Petersburg and it belongs to the Carlsburg group.
