What are you doing with homebrew today?

All the beers for our annual crawfish boil are in the keggerator. 50 gallons of goodness.

Weekend brew plans will need to be postponed. I was in the ER yesterday getting 3 sutures in the palm of my right hand after putting a 5 mm puncture in me with a hollow metal tube. It's a long stupid story, as these types of accidents tend to be. This morning my fingers are regaining feeling and some mobility but my entire hand is swollen up twice it's size. Sutures come out in 6 days and then hopefully it'll be brew day. I start a new job in 2 weeks and need to be able to type and use a mouse so fingers crossed for a speedy recovery (on my left hand, of course)

Sorry to hear about the hand, hope it heals up quick!

Checking gravity on the Black IPA, BRY-97 is taking its time.
I pitched last Tuesday evening, took about 30 hours to get started, still have about 8 points to go.
It is sitting at about 1016, expecting it to go to 1008
Looks like it will clear up beautifully after fermentation is done and I give it a good cold crash.

Hm. No chance of becoming a righty then. Not enough time.

Sorry to hear about if, but relieved that it is not worse than that. Wishing a speedy recovery, but you know you can help that by taking it easier.

Bet you Said "Oh darn!" Well, heal up fast.
I think I just said, "oh my god," quietly before calling 911 because I was by myself lol I had a dirty towel on for compression and kept it over my head and made sure to not pass out before EMS arrived. I was successful! Very nice gentlemen. I learned that ambulance rides in that county are free which was a delightful surprise

Damn! Yes, I do hope you have a speedy recovery. Keep that thing clean so it doesn't get infected.

I need to find a way to get my cooler with fermenter lifted onto the table, so I can keg tomorrow and brew today..
Re-using the trub and no-chill.
I suppose I just have to ask for help as I am still not allowed to lift heavy things

By the way, thanks y'all for the input on this one. I would not have gone that aggressive on hops without coaxing. Now I understand.
It has lovely color, what is the ABV on that
