What are you doing with homebrew today?

Turns out 3/8" silicon tubing fits snug into a keg PRV port

D Rest should be done tonight. Probably going to start turning the temps back down.
I have also been watching more force carbing videos some my dumb ass self might get it right this time. Once that damn keg is in the refrigerator it is a royal pain to mess with quick connects. My hand won't fit on top of the keg, and something with 5 gallons of liquid with that little room is very difficult to move around.
Force carbonation?

Latest iteration of Smooth Stout was bottled today, and I saved a jar of slurry. This batched employed Wyeast 1332 NW Ale, which took the wort from 1.058 to 1.018, just as predicted. The sample smelled and tasted great. Looking forward to popping a bottle next weekend, or so.

I run the keg on that thing at about 30 pounds co2 after a good clod crash but then the keg sits at about 8 pounds for a week or more before I srart drinking . Just clearing until the other keg goes empty.

I'm just lamenting my home brew :(
Only got a little simple cider left.
On the plus side: my batch of ginger concoction should be ready soon.

Been cleaning kegs and beer line in anticipation ;)

Looks like you may have not dried it out too much either and left just a little something something. Nice.
The first Pale Ale I made with BIAB, I think I screwed up my mash temperatures, and it only fermented down to 1.015 with S-05. It was a blessing of a screw up.

This was 82% from W-34/70, a yeast I'm beginning to love because no matter what state-of-affairs I alllow fermentation to take place, it seems to know what the beer needs even (especially) when I don't! :)

My first two 34/70 brews were very good. Kegging #3 and my first attempt at a Festbier on Saturday. Hoping for the same. The visual activity has been right where I expected it. We shall see.

I concur. Hard to make a bad one with it

Labeled my feral hop cream ale, and decided, what the hell, entered it in a local comp as a pre pro lager. While I was dropping it off at the LHBS I picked up a bag of Briess Pale Ale to restock my bin.
Good luck with that Tim, it'd be apropos to win in that category with that particular beer. It's got history...
