Checking inventory for brew day tomorrow. Adjustments will be made
Enjoy the weather. Stormy day here.
On a sad per note The part of Kentucky where my wife grew up is destroyed. Flooding was terrible the last few days. Thankfully everyone she has been checking on was evacuated.
Haha imagine if I was still doing 1 gallon batches!Haha you are prolific!
Sometimes you gottaI've got to transfer a cold IPA and a pale ale to kegs. Oh yeah clean the 2 fermenters and prep for a @Sunfire96 impromptu brew this weekend.
Not wired up yet.
I want to bottle my saison and cider first as they are in the fridge now.
And yes, it's supposed to regulate the temperature.
The cable connectors are a little small, going to be a bit of a pain to get my wires connected, esp the ones that need 2 wires connected
Woo! Technology is so fun. I have a small square of insulation taped to my fermenter and my sensor probe tucks right in. I've also heard some folks use a jug of water to put the sensor to track their fridge temps.Wired up now and connected to the solar charge controller.
It's quite basic, but will be better than nothing
She got a 3 oC bandwidth.
Since there is still a saison in it, I've set it to 25 oC, meaning, fridge will come on at 28 oC and switches off at 25 oC.
I figure that's roughly the temps where the saison has been sitting so far
At least I can test it.
The sensor is hanging against the side of my stainless steel fermenter (tied onto the handle).
Hope you have enough bandwidth to meet up with us later! And I managed to get into the settings. Changed the bandwidth to 1.5 oC (just because now I can )
And now it's time for a homebrew Cider
Indeed late.
Don't even now if it is at 23.00 or midnight at my timezone
And I just started on cider...
We'll see....
