Snowpocalyse!

Even in the 60s - perhaps even more so - there was stuff you really should avoid in snow. But 150 grams a year, meh …

3-6 prediction here tomorrow evening. The 8 inches or so we got last Sunday/monday simply condensed down due to sun, temp never got up past 26 all week. So winter is real for us this year.

All the way down here, it didn't get out of the 40s for a couple of days. Supposed to be 70 tomorrow, but cold for about a week after that. Yes, winter sucks this year.

Getting cold just thinking about it :)

I yell at my two boys every time we're out in the snow not to eat it cause it's dirty. They're 5 and 3....
Can't imagine anyone willing eating snow knowing how much pollution is in rainwater. Funny that I don't have that issue with the girl...
As my daughter is fond of saying "There is a reason women live longer than men!"
She's not wrong. :D

It is going to be chilly when I brew in the morning, but I am damn grateful not needing to deal with that crap. We just have to deal with hurricane season LOL.

That is how it is here too. The ruts in the snow will throw you around for sure once it freezes
I had a slight scare the other day in my truck, had a wide commercial vehicle coming at me on the 2 lane highway but my ruts wouldn't let me get over enough I had to pull over and stop, was worried I couldn't get started again but lucked out, it was still slushy snow

I'll take cold dry snow any day. Wet heavy slush is harder to get grip
