Had to take the wife to work this morning. MO is the worst for plowing roads.woke up to no power or water and 6 inches of powder snow, good thing I had solar and a wood stove, I had to make the first tracks on my road
As my daughter is fond of saying "There is a reason women live longer than men!"I yell at my two boys every time we're out in the snow not to eat it cause it's dirty. They're 5 and 3....
Can't imagine anyone willing eating snow knowing how much pollution is in rainwater. Funny that I don't have that issue with the girl...
Hopefully no power issuesAfter about 2” of snow, it warmed up enough to make slush. Now it’s below 32, and freezing up. Plus light rain is freezing onto the trees. Ugh.
That is how it is here too. The ruts in the snow will throw you around for sure once it freezesAfter about 2” of snow, it warmed up enough to make slush. Now it’s below 32, and freezing up. Plus light rain is freezing onto the trees. Ugh.
One 10-second glitch, enough to reset all the clocks. I also have generators and fuel.Hopefully no power issues
Great pic! Love that your cat is out in it too!
I had a slight scare the other day in my truck, had a wide commercial vehicle coming at me on the 2 lane highway but my ruts wouldn't let me get over enough I had to pull over and stop, was worried I couldn't get started again but lucked out, it was still slushy snowThat is how it is here too. I'll take cold dry snow any day. Wet heavy slush is harder to get gripI had a slight scare the other day in my truck, had a wide commercial vehicle coming at me on the 2 lane highway but my ruts wouldn't let me get over enough I had to pull over and stop, was worried I couldn't get started again but lucked out, it was still slushy snow
…and uglier when it freezes up. One can easily drive in dry snow.I'll take cold dry snow any day. Wet heavy slush is harder to get grip
