A bit of garlic+ parsley compound butter with lemon/orange zest on top of a good fresh sourdough... DroolingOH man, it's summer time...A little olive oil, some balsamic..maybe some pepper !
And is likely tastes better. And, fresh bread like that doesn't need to be toasted to not be 'gritty', at least the commercial loaves we get there need to be toasted or they're cardboard.Replicated my efforts tonight for consistency and to know i didn't jag itView attachment 27419

That cost $3 to make less than half the cost.
