What are you doing with homebrew today?

Picked up some C60, carafoam, caramunich I, some s-04, and an ounce of juggles yesterday. All set for ingredients for my next 4 batches now.

brewing Uncle Tony's Lager today. I suppose its a CAP or pre pro . It uses pilsner (Vicking because was out of American) but good old American Corn Flakes. Probably not a a PP because of the use of Pilsner malt. So CAP it is.

Currently waiting for temp to rise for mash out, coffee porter brew day. Mashed at 68C (154.5F) for 90 minutes, got good conversion.

I’ve never done a coffee porter. How are you achieving the coffee contribution to the flavor?
I’ve done London-ish style, American colonial style, chocolate & east coast / pre-prohibition porters.

I carbed a PET bottle that I am going to take to my closer brewery on Tuesday. If y'all didn't figure it out last night, I am happy as hell with the way this New England turned out. Josh helped me figure out the lagers, and Craig got me out of my comfort zone enough with his advice to make this one good and for me to learn something.

Just paid a visit to my buddy Dan, he has a fancy espresso machine, cost him like $4000, grinds and packs the coffee, this is 4 double shots. Will add to the fermenter in the next day or two.

I got a bunch of amazon gift cards for Christmas and dumped them all towards an espresso machine- not 4 large worth, in fact, not even a tenth of that, but it makes very good espresso and can do the milk frothing, etc.

I’m eager to hear how it comes out!

I have brewed this multiple times, last time I didn't add any coffee or espresso, it was still a great beer, and still had some coffee notes (from the brown malt)

I would just drink that
Do you think that's enough for 5 gallons? Probably only about 80grams of coffee there
