Notes
Mash in at 120 f, add juniper berries
Raise temperature slowly over 90 minutes to 160 f
Rest, covered, for 60 minutes
Add hops to mash just before sparging
Sparge over juniper branches until mash runs clear
Raise to 180 f, but do not boil, hold for 20 minutes
Cool to 70 F and add yeast.
Didn't sparge enough--probably start w 1 gallon, sparge with 1 gallon.
HELLA loss with that much grain. Also did not measure the foraged juniper so who knows!!!1!!
