2nd version of a Verdant IPA that gave a very golden yellow colour with lots of citrus, peach and apricot flavour.
The hops used are to bring even more stone fruit, peach and apricot flavour that is attained through this yeast strain.
There seems to be an imbalance with the hops v malt. I had a stuck mash and conversion was lower than predicted despite using the rice hulls.
The beer isn't bad but next time I think I will use a standard bittering hop and dry hop with more 'exotic' varieties.
Plenty of fruit and very easy drinking, a tad too bitter and again unbalanced. There were issues with bottling and some dead yeast found its way into all the bottles which affected the flavour.
