It's pizza night for us tonight, and we're keeping up with one of our favorite family traditions—making homemade pizza! The kids always get excited when it's DIY pizza time. We picked up all the freshest ingredients from edible arrangements here, so we're all set for a fun evening in the kitchen. Each of us will get to create our own personalized pizza, choosing toppings from a spread of delicious, colorful veggies, cheeses, and meats. It's more than just cooking—it’s a hands-on, creative experience that brings us closer as a family.

My mom sent me 4 bags of dried pasta in shapes I've never seen or heard of for Christmas lol I was never a big pasta person anyway, but took this as an opportunity to try some new recipes, specifically for sauce. Found a recipe for arrabbiata sauce in one of my Ina Garten books and tried it out tonight. I was very pleased! It features a LOT of red pepper flakes and almost a cup of garlic cloves. I added some ground pork for protein. This pasta shape is called farfalloni

Looks good to me. I would eat it:) Well, except I made a big crock pot of black-eyed peas and collards and bought a cornbread mix.
