What did you get delivered today

Got my Simcoe and Triumph hops from YVH. It'll be at least 8 weeks until I can brew again as I'm getting tendon and nerve repair surgery this week on my right hand. Luckily I got 2 brews in last week so I'll have 7ish gallons ready to drink when I'm able to consume alcohol again. SO will have to help me bottle to send the kolsch off to competition, but we work well together as a team.

Love supporting my local brewery. 5 gal of light german lager. Kegerator is empty so had to fill it (need to brew my own in a couple weeks!).
As a side note how does one connect the commercial adapter without making a mess (or is some mess expected) ? Once you screw on the adapter the beer squirts out as i always forget which direction initially to screw it on.

Make sure the CO2 handle on the coupler is fully up and locked before attaching. Line up the notches on the keg port, keep the coupler level and straight, rotate like you're screwing a lid onto a jar until it stops (doesn't take more than half a turn), and then finally lower the CO2 release handle and make sure it clicks in place. Beer sprays when the coupler is crooked or the CO2 release is on while connecting
