What did you get delivered today

Pressure transferring from the All Rounder to a keg would be no problem. The problem is that I boil out by the in the back yard and ferment in the basement. If it's just the PRV, I could cover the opening with cling wrap. If it's the weight I'll have to come up with another method. Maybe use an intermediary bucket to transfer the wort from the back yard down to the basement and then drain into the All Rounder.
I use foil on mine while I’m carrying it around. I don’t put the lid on until I pitch my yeast because it’s a bastard to get off.

Much cheaper than most triclamp viewports. Its just an acrylic tri clamp cap. Neat!

Fermzilla All Rounder arrived today. I wasn't planning on getting one now but, I stumbled across a link to one on MoreBeer.com that was on sale for only $99! Normally they are $154 and currently on sale for $123 (model FE118). The one I purchased is model FE168. I compared the options on both and looked closely at the photos but, could see no difference. I couldn't pass up a 1/3 off deal so I bought it! Anyway it's mine now and has been fully inspected!
I'm generally 12-15 L/ 4-5 gallons. It's fine to carry at that weight for me and I'm just going from one side of the garage to the other. Transferring to package via gas, so no lifting at that stage of the process. As Josh said the lid is a pain once there's any temperature change. Especially when you're coming back to pitch the yeast a few hours later. I use a variation on a oil filter wrench to open the screw ring part. Then use a screwdriver between the posts and the screw ring to lever the inside lid up.

That is a good idea.

It got delivered last Friday. Thanks to my wonderful wife, I/we now have a garage refrigerator. Too bad that Corny keg sat unchilled for so many months. The Amber Ale in the keg was brewed in late February, and is essentially lifeless - it will likely end up being my first ever dumper. Soon, I will be buying one or two Torpedo kegs in 2.5 gallon size, and I will be getting back in the routine of brewing again.
