What are you drinking right now?

How'd it turn out? Any concerns on the FG?
I'm very happy with how it turned out, even at 5.4 it feels like it packs the 6% punch I was going for. My buds were over Wednesday and gave it a firm "yes guy". If I use BRY-97 again I will have to adjust the attenuation on it.

This is week 3 of dieting. Low carb and no beer on weekdays.Im enjoying the pictures haha
I am fresh off of doing the same thing Josh. I had a dry month and a half, and am now currently just enjoying the brews one day a week. Dropped 22 lbs, could stand to drop another 15 to be honest...

I’m going to do this until I fly out to Disney in mid June. I’m losing 5-7 a week then gaining 2-3 back on the weekend. Should get me another 10. Could be more but will be harder the last few weeks to lose much. I’m down 14 as of this morning in the 3 weeks. At Little league last night, I coach former players kids, they were whistling at me haha.

A little sumpin sumpin from up your way @Herm brews

I’m thinking this might be the first kolsch I’ve ever had. I like the honey notes along with the sour notes. Interesting beer.
They make some good stuff out of an awesome location right on Yaquina Bay in Newport.

After working in our garden for several hours, I showered and took the short walk to the Friendly Garden, where I am enjoying Sebastian, a Saison by Wolves & People.
The cool back story is that the guy who procures the beer for this place has been trying to get this beer on tap for years - his name is Sebastian. I told him to get to work finding a beer for me, something named Herm. He is on it!

The only bad thing is I wanted upper 5s, I got 6.0, so not too bad. Even picking up the gook from the bottom, it is good. I think I like the Cascade Mosaic combo a lot. I think I like that Coastal Haze yeast fermented at 70 even more.

Josh, if you aren't, try to drink a lot of water during the week too. About 4 or 5 years ago, I got to be a big boy from the Torpedoes. I was dropping little by little with portion control, more sessionable beers, and water. Stress took off the last 17. I'm down 42 from being a big boy.

Iwas up to 235 during COVID, l dropped 35lbs a couple of years ago, but 17 of those pounds came back. Down to 200 again, but need to get down to 180/185,working on it.

I always drink a ton of water. Pint glass when I get up and 3-4 bottles at school. Plus a few more glasses after work.

Before y'all's advice, I had everything right except the hops. Initially, the numbers for hops y'all were talking about scared the shit out if me, but you were right. Craig, if you want to play with something different, try the White Labs Coastal Haze if you can keep it around 70F. I mixed the 2 Row with some good Floor Malted Pils in this one too, and that Pils shines in it. I don't know if it is because of my spring water or what, but it works. It does have both flaked oats and a little white wheat too. Single infusion at 152F.

Unfortunately my home brew shop doesn't offer White Labs products.
Really glad this turned out well for you Tim!
