Someone might have a rough morning. In Louisville for a conference. “Kid” I coached in football and basketball here with me. He’s been teaching with me for 5 years and coaching here. We’ve been at the bar. He’s had 4-5 mixed cocktails (usually a beer guy). I’ve had a few Kentucky brewed beers. West 6th IPA. Louisville Lager (don’t recommend) and Against the grains lager (loved it)

Nice to see GF beer in the wild. Very curious...How was it? Would a regular beer drinker know they were drinking something other than a regular beer?A two bays whilst is absolutely buckets down no hail Thank God!View attachment 27655
Yes. I feel like absolute poopie. Hotel bar afterwards wasn’t intelligentSomeone might have a rough morning.
I would say so.Limestone water is that high in bicarbonates or what
Calcium Carbonate (Limestone). Forgive the poor resolution, but this is practically in @Josh Hughes back yard. I took this back in 2001 with what was considered a good digital camera at the time (Kodak DC25), not so much now. I'd say there's a bit of limestone dissolved in the water in Western/Central Kentucky. This is from the wet end tour of Mammoth Cave, which is about half-way between Bowling Green and Louisville. If you've never been, I highly recommend it.I would say so.
Bit of weather you are having there, is that from the tropical storm, hope you are safe mate!A two bays whilst is absolutely buckets down no hail Thank God!View attachment 27655
Yeah for sure it has a nice malt flavour that disappears very quickly from the pallet. Light body light flavour finishing dry and crisp.Nice to see GF beer in the wild. Very curious...How was it? Would a regular beer drinker know they were drinking something other than a regular beer?
No that's nearly 2000 clicks up north of me they are copping a good deluge.Bit of weather you are having there, is that from the tropical storm, hope you are safe mate!
Wow! That is beautiful!
Not liking that they are closing, that sucks, but I really like the sound of that CDA!View attachment 27667 A Cascadian Dark Ale with spruce tips at Falling Sky Deli & Pourhouse. This is a fun place, with great food in a nice open space. My wife and I have been coming here since our first visit in 2017. They are closing next weekend - can’t afford triple the rent. It was a good run while it lasted. At least their brewery/pourhouse location will remain open. They make some good beers.
