As usual, brilliantly clear beer, Ben. Is rice based beer any easier to clarify? Wheat is all but impossible to get clear, but I do like my wheat beers.
Um I think comes down to protein content.
Rice malt protine content is Lower than barley.
The protine in the malt can cause a consistent haze in the finished product.
That's my reasoning anyhow.
Think of your American light lagers
They often have good doses of rice and or corn in their grists to lower the protine content of the total grist.
This leaves a nice clean clear lager.

I think I'd remain sober in them situations as well.
Nothing would sober me up more knowing lions were walking about close by

Tapped into my first attempt at a lager.

A bit cloudier than I expected but its only been three weeks.
I don't have the taste buds of a judge but I gotta say Bunyip is better...

Got a few pints of Helles left after Kegging. Super cloudy as my cold crash will be the next few days with the keg in the fridge
This was the one I was worried I dripped some rancid, immersion pre chiller water into a chilled wort. Tastes…like my other Helles’ so do with that as you please hahaha

Not sure how long you've had this conditioning but a couple of weeks can really help everything come together on a lager
.
Still a little left over Helles in the fermenter.
