That view doesn't look too different than what we will be enjoying in a couple of weeks. Are those big pine trees?

We’re in San Bernardino National Forest. The elevation is about 7200 feet, and forest is old growth. Many of these trees are over 100 feet tall. Too bad the surrounding wilderness is mostly destroyed. Still an awesome place!
And yes, the trees are mostly pines firs and cedars, with some oaks.

I love, love, love Port City brewing from Alexandria, VA, their Monumental IPA is phenomenal if you can find it. This golden ale is delicious and crisp, and I'm digging the can art

A Ruby Goblin for me. Just got back from our regional softball tournament our girls won! First time in school history. On the way home I seen that my brother’s team (he is an assistant at a neighboring school) won the boys region. My nephew score a few of their runs tonight.
