What are you drinking right now?

The Coffee Porter that I brewed in July. I bottled it and tucked it away for this time of year. It is fermented with VOSS Kveik. This is a holy shit beer! I think I will take the last few and tuck them away for next year at this time.

What was in the growlers? Something 5.5%

@Josh Hughes shoit that looks Good!

Sounds like some awesome leftovers! We had a few days of ham leftover, mom aced it!

Yep. Five pounds later, and still have spuds left. Wife telling me to finish this, finish that, and then telling me I'm getting fat:eek: About par for this time of year. I should be used to it after 38 years of her singing the same old song:) Time to dust off the exercise bike:)

BTW Josh, nice looking Bitter.

I'm hearing ya Bob.
Wife said she's embarrassed when I go out front without a shirt on WTF i say oh only joking don't be so serious she goes:confused:.
At this rate might be joining Hawkbox lol:D!

It was "Yule Mule" hazelnut Mint Stout by Jackass Brewing . It was a gift from my kids, not a fan of hazelnut, and mint in a beer sounded odd, but it was really good.

Did some inventory yesterday and found a forgotten 6 pack under some newer batches :D This is my 3rd and final repeat batch of the extra pale. It was a great recipe for dialing in some new equipment, but it's very light without much/if any hop flavor/aroma. It pairs great with lunch (leftover pizza) while my current batch chills in the ice bath :) cheers!

Since it’s Taco Tuesday in this house, my wife and I are sipping margaritas. We’ll be making our tacos using some leftover smoked tri tip roast. Everything gets done on a cast iron skillet on the stove - meat warmed under a lid, with water for steam, while corn tortillas are warmed on the other side. Condiments include onions and cilantro, avocado, a Mexican cheese blend, and a sauce made by mixing homemade ranchera sauce with some plain Greek yogurt. I’ll be enjoying a beer or two after my margarita - Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA.

I didn't think to put the year on this label, hadn't really thought about keeping on for a year when I brewed, but here I am a year later. The cinnamon is very subtle in this one a year later, just (still) getting the perfect hint of ginger. Next year I hope to land somewhere between this one and this years version which is pretty heavy on the cinnamon.
