It was! The bones are in the wood stove....Wifey cleared the table off with a stern warning....."Don't drink my beer!"

First bottle of the Christmas ale. Poured some out for my wife and she likes it. I went with a Wee heavy Recipe and added some brown malt and flaked barely to It. Turned out well.

Bottle conditioned I left the lees in the bottle.
It's got a sweet caramel aroma flavour is similar with a fruity body kinda like the Christmas pudding flavours i ate yesterday ritch raisins quite a sweet finish almost like a candi sweet caramel taste I don't expect this to have attenuated past 1.020 it must of started up in the 70's. And what a lovely looking beer Auburn is the description on the bottle
