And it is a very good beer, 90kg of raspberries, and 18kg of pineapples have definitely left their mark. It will be a great beer when I blend it with an 8% stout tomorrow!

HAPPY FRIDAY!
Rye Sasion on tap for a bit more. Getting low. To good to set down after pouring. At first yeast competed with rye and hops were heavy. Has melded well with a couple weeks. Hard to keep beer around in the heat of summer here.

Damn near gone Oskar Blues Mama's Yella Pilz going down real nice. All this damn smoke and heat make this a perfect beer to wash it all down...over and over and over...

My Janet's Brown Ale is about perfect right now. It's brown, but perfectly clear and delicious.

Black IPA. It takes a few sips for the brain to get used to a very hoppy dark beer.

Kona Brewing - Longboard Island Lager
I’ve had too many today to give this any poetic justice. Just have one, it’s really good.
The glass dates to the mid 90’s. Anyone else a veteran of the GABC? I wish I was smart enough to have kept note of all the beers the club delivered. I bet <10% of those breweries are still around.

At the moment it's awful. Far too much dry hop. Tastes tannic and tea like. I'll try again in a bit and see how it changes, but I don't have much hop for this batch. At least I've got an idea for the remainder of the hops.

Kona does have some great drinking beers. We like getting their variety packs. AB brews some of their beers here locally and I think Long Board is one of them.
Gee wizz maybe something to do with all that vegetal matter maybe you must really thrown some hops at it.

It's fruity it's mango for sure pineapple maybe my snifter don't smell it not a bad kviek strain. I love the attenuation 85% . I'll run it hotter next brew and pair it with some mosaic Simcoe type brew or Equinox oh boy oh boy.
