I did that thing again where instead of picking up where I left off on a thread it took me back to the beginning and I thought a really old post was new
Something to remember them by...Real random, but varnishing a floor with 2 Jack Russels around ain't easy.
Think I managed to get rid of most paw prints
Yup contemplated putting a shirt on here this morning yup getting cooler beer too now
Here in Eugene, Oregon it is a cool 12C (54F). As native Southern Californians, we are wearing long pants, wool socks, 2 shirts, and even gloves.

21 oC means long sleeved shirts, longs and definitely extra duvets (our predicted night temperature is 20-21 oC (Brrrr)

Supposed to be 74 here today. Probably a good day to grill some burgers and push Sophie on the swing. May set the computer up outside for the zoom later as well.
Continuing our drive home today, and it is forecast to be 84*F tomorrow, and near 80 for the next week. Looks like winter is in the rear view mirror.

Random thought and notevto self:
If your instant read thermometer tells you the oil is 160 oC, it also means the probe is very hot, so don't wipe it clean immediately with just a little toilet paper........

Or take the pan out of the oven with an oven mitt then attempt to put the pan back into the oven without one .

It all sucks but hot oil is the worst. I still have an L shaped scar on my forearm from when I caught a fryer basket back when I worked for Wendy's. It's been like 15 years and I can still remember it vividly. Also very painful I learned from my days slinging tacos is hot nacho cheese and refried beans. All things to avoid.
