These are Tobacco Sheds, where they would hang the tobacco to dry.
Norfolk County is a huge agricultural area, nothing but fields of crops on my drive to and from our trailer.
Tobacco, asparagus, cabbage, tart cherries, ginseng, peppers, pumpkins, rye, squash, zucchini, strawberries, and other vegetables.
Good friend of mine grew up in this area, hung a lot of tobacco when he was young!

Reminds me of being a kid. We had barns full. I do not use tobacco but always loved the smell of those barns. We also had a lot of cows….much different smell haha.
 
Pretty:) Makes we want to go back to Asheville (Similar scenery about an hour outside of town) even more.
 
Spending a few days in Italian speaking Switzerland for my wedding anniversary. This is a lovely part of the country that I don't go to enough, as my Italian is not very good. Picture is out my hotel room window of the waterfront of Lake Maggiore.
