I brewed today!

I have had the urge to brew a saison, but the reality is that it is the wrong season, at least for me. There is no way that any room in this house will see temperatures close to 70F until next Summer. Maybe it is time to revisit my Vienna Garage Lager?
Would be perfect for it. It will be lagers for me the next few months. Either a Dunkel or schwarzbier

My wife enjoyed a local schwarzbier a few days ago, and it was good.
I just reworked my Vienna Garage Lager, simplifying it and lightening it somewhat. And now that we have a fridge in the garage ……

Brewed Josh's "Smidicks" recipe today. I had to switch to Omega Irish Ale (OYL-005) yeast because my LHBS was out of Imperial Darkness (A10)...again. This tasted awesome the first time I brewed this so, I want this one to last a while so I am maxing out the brew kettle and fermenter. As I don't have a lot of head space in the fermenter, I plan to start this one fermenting under a little bit of pressure to keep the kreuzen down; at least until it's past high kreuzen.

Maybe I should get a brew in.
Simple beer on same trub, same hop, just changing pale ale malt for Maris Otter..

Mine was VERY simple. I added about 2-2.5% Chocolate 350 just to give it some color (1/4lb for 5 gallons). The rest was all Vienna. It was tasty.
