Boo Newcastle haha! I’m from the city just south with a huge rivalry with Newcastle (Sunderland). I have family in both areas so it’s fun with the banter back and forth. Newcastle brown is a bottle beer and not something you would/will get on tap as it’s an export beer only (like fosters in Australia). It was one of the few early English beers you could get in the 90’s (80’s?) in the US. Was my only way to have a pint from the northeast England then, I haven’t had one in quite awhile. Sorry just realized I have typed a paragraph but I think we both would enjoy a pint together!Mild in a new eBay pickup View attachment 31190
Paragraphs are good! This would explain why I didn’t see this beer on draft anywhere when I was in Northern England/southern Scotland 10 years ago. I expected to see it and didn’t. Oddly it was one of the first British beers I had on draft, just here in the US. Used to be able to get Bass and Newcastle on draft and bottles close by but haven’t seen in years either way. We would DEFINITELY enjoy a pint togetherBoo Newcastle haha! I’m from the city just south with a huge rivalry with Newcastle (Sunderland). I used to visit trillium down by the docks in Boston for growler fill ups before they bottled. Are they still there. They made good beers. Do you have recipe postedThis is the "Sleeper Street" clone from Trillium Brewery

I have never been there. I got the recipe from the BYO Clone book. I had to tweak the recipe due some ingredients not on hand.I used to visit trillium down by the docks in Boston for growler fill ups before they bottled. Are they still there. They made good beers. Do you have recipe posted
I used to subscribe to BYO magazine and really enjoyed it. They only do digital now and was thinking to subscribe but have trouble reading stuff on line. I saved all the back issues and go back to for inspiration. They hay a piece on old German styles and recipes. I brewed a dinkel (spelt) beer that was good. Do you subscribe?
