Notes

I x Mr. Beer Grand Bohemian Czech Pilsner Brewing Extract (HME)-Samuel Adams Noble Pils

or

1 x Mr. Beer American Lager Brewing Extract (HME)-Samuel Adams Boston Lager

When brewing, you can substitute LME for HME. When using HME do not use Liberty hops for a one hour boil. HME is already hopped. Add at the end of the brewing process. Use the hop schedule for remaining hops. Steep caramel grain at 150 degrees for 30 minutes. Substitute Nottingham Yeast (Lallemand #-) with any Lager yeast, if preferred. Something like Saflager W34/70 would work as a substitute. If using HME, add this at the 5 minute mark. Also, it is OK to use corn sugar or a small amount of LME or DME as a way to boil your hops separately and add to your wert at the end of the brewing process. If using lager yeast, follow yeast instructions for time & temperature parameters.
