Notes

Attempted Jamil & "Tasty's Can You Brew It?" recipe for Green Flash West Coast IPA from homebrewtalk.com thread.
Deviations from the written recipe:
Hops:

  • bumped 90 min Simcoe addition from 1/2 oz to full oz (Tasty and Nathan's suggestion)
  • didn't have any Columbus hops but needed something and went with 1/2 Amarillo and 1/2 Calypso instead for all Columbus additions
  • added gypsum (Tasty's suggestion)
Chuck at Green Flash(in the podcast) said they whirlpool and dry hop but I followed this recipe and dry hopped only.
