brewed a couple days ago. pre boil refractometer showed 1080, including the DME and sugar. forgot to take post boil. i wouldve thought the post boil OG wouldve been higher. tilt showed 1080 at best

basic recipe designed based off of byo style article sample recipe :

adding a tiny bit of warrior to boost IBU a little bit without buying more than one ounce of tettnang. needs adjusting when actual purchased AA is known.
using rva trappist iii in anticipation of reusing the yeast for a quad
need to check on the lovibond of the candi sugar when you get to the store and adjust. if only super dark is available, consider mixing light and dark to aim for the middle of the SRM range for the style
