Notes

This recipe is named for the Cascade hops I grew in my backyard that were almost destroyed by a falling tree when an F1 tornado ripped through our neighborhood on Memorial Day weekend 2019.

The hops were actually not fresh but rather picked, dried, and frozen for about a month before I used them.

Excellent light and fruity taste. A very fresh and refreshing flavor. Not too bitter but the hops come through nicely. This recipe is definitely worth saving and repeating with backyard hops.
