Notes
Used whole Cascade hops that Philip grew (2018) in Girdletree, MD.
Guessing Alpha Acid level as 4.5%.
Added additional .25 oz hops beyond exact recipe at 60 minutes to increase the IBUs a bit!
Added 1# additional LME to increase ABV from 4.5% to 5.2%. Recipe says 6# + Steeping grains should yield 5% ABV.
Priming sugar for 2.4 volumes CO2 based on 68 degF beer when bottling.
Hydrated dry yeast before pitching.
Split LME in halves and used one half in a late addition after the boil was completed. This effectively increaded the IBUs by about 8.
