Notes
  • ment to use amirillo pellets in late addition boil but put the 25 gr leaf citra in by mistake, so I chucked the 30 gr amarillo pellits in for hopback and experimented with giving them a good stir when temp doen to 82, went a bit low as a meant to do it at 90.
  • used yeast starter, pitched into bowl of wert cooled to 30c, stand 5 minutes and stirred in and stand 30 min. Will this get ferm going faster?
  • OG 1049. Effeciancy poor at 66%. Mash was very thick with some grains at top not emersed in water. S0, do I go back to 3/1. That woud have been 19.2, not 18.
  • FG 1008. 5,4 ABV
  • Dryhopped 6 days after racking to other fermentor.
  • 149 gr sugar for secondary fermentation to produce 2.6 vol co2
  • On bottling smells promissing and looks reasonable clear already following 6 days off yeast.
