You should go with Pellets for the dry hopping. Whole Leaf absorbs a gallon of beer.

I normally do, but a buddy of mine and I are going in together on a bulk purchase of hops, which have to be whole cone.

That's why it seems rather random that some hops are pellet, and some are whole cone. This is a combination of my current inventory, and what I'll be ordering.
