CasCoe Pale Ale (could be called a Session IPA) was brewed on our 1 BBL pilot unit here at New Magnolia Brewery in Houston, TX. Color was spot on, exactly what I was aiming for (the pic looks like it has a bit of chill haze, but it was the first pour and it really cleared up). Flavor profile is so Cascade and Simcoe. Citrus forward, some light pine and resin and slight hint of dank all of which slowly linger on the finish. Hops are on the forefront of this beer and the malts are pretty subdued but I think the wheat does add a bit of body. This is a fairly simple pale ale but freaking tasty and damn drinkable. And with a mid-ish ABV, you can knock back a few. Rating is 4.5. This one made me smile.
