Beer Recipe
- Heat strike water up to 160F/ 71C.
- Sit the brew bag into the water and slowly pour in the combined grain making sure to not create grain balls.
- Mash in your grain at 152F/ 67C for 30 minutes stirring regularly. Note, make sure to keep an eye on temperature throughout.
- After the mash in time is complete, heat up the mash to 175F/ 80C for mash out and pull the bag out.
- Bring the mash to the boil and add the bittering hops right after the "hot break" to avoid boil over. You can also add your prepared blueberries.
- With 10 minutes to go, add the aroma hops and stir.
- Last hop drop is at 0 minutes.
- Turn off heat source and cool down wort.
- Pitch yeast at 65F.
- Pour wort into fermenter and aerate.
- Allow to ferment for roughly 8 days.
- After fermentation, add primming solution and bottle beer.
- Condition for roughly 5 days in bottles.
Blueberry prep
- Mash up blueberries in a pot.
- Add to a cheese cloth.
