05/02 7 Gal WalMart RO H2O
Mash for 90 + minutes , started around 135, slowly got to 154ish. Variable temps throughout mashbed. Rice hulls didn't help much.
Stirred up mash bed several times, used pump and recirculated last 45 minutes with sprayer tip. Sparged with 2 gal 70.F H2O.
Boiled down from approx 7.25 Gal. Added hops per schedule.
Cooled overnight to 72.F and pitched yeast in speidel 30L fermenter. Nice light color, much lighter than previous extract batches, similar to real thing if memory serves me right.
