Notes
Attempt #1 to recreate strawberry blonde from Belmont Brewing Company in LBC, CA. Recipe based on a cream ale and using strawberry extract at bottling
Fermentation for 8 days at 80F.
~4.5 gallons from fermenter. Added Sugar and Gelatin for carbon (2.6vols co2) and clarity. Bottle ~18 bottles. With 2.5 gallons remaining Added strawberry - 94mls to 2.5 gallons
Blonde came out with nice clarity and really is reminiscent of like a Coors but with a bit more wheat character.
Strawberry version was a big hit. Extract is a bit artificial tasting but people enjoy the artificialness of it.
