Notes

This SMASH beer was good to see what these two ingredients would taste like. It was a little to dry, bitter and astringent. The hops were old and given to me from a fellow homebrewer. Citra held it's AA pretty well but lost most of its aroma even when properly" stored. I wouldn't hesitate to use Vienna as a base malt.

There were a couple things I was trying to learn; I have a bunch of Vienna malt and was curious how a 100% Vienna beer would taste. Not bad, I would definitely brew it again. Secondly, I was given some old Citra hops and I was trying to figure out what their AA might still be. They are still bitter, nearly 2% more than I accounted for. The balance was off by quite a bit. Overall good experiment
