Mixed up 2oz each of Simcoe, Amarillo, Chinook and blended. Weighted Avg AA = 12%.
For the HopDip, drained 2 quarts wort into a small covered glass pitcher after 15 minutes of the boil and added hops in a muslin bag. Poured the fluid and muslin bag into the wort along with the WP hops for a 10 minute hop stand around 160* before finishing the chilling process. Last time, the hop dip was done in the fermenter with no bag-- just loose hops-- and I had to dump the yeast after fermentation.
