Notes

Decoction Mash. Started low at 125F, infuse to 145, pull decoction, heat to 158F rest 15 min, boil, return to main mash to get 155F. Rest 30 min, pull decoction, heat to boil, return to get 165F. Recirc.

Urkel yeast didn't kick in, added 34/70 after 6 days.

Despite problems during the mash and fermentation, this beer is excellent. Great malty pils with nicely balanced hops flavor.

Brewed 2/5/2023.
