Brewed Aug 28, 2022 - This brew is meant to be a super low ABV session hazel nut brown mild using up some odd and end dark grains and having ample mouth feel obtained via high mash temps.
Mashed grains in at 158°F for one hour. Sparge with 178°F water, initial runnings at 16 Brix (1.065). Collected 7 gal at which time wort was at 3 Brix (1.012). Topped off with 5 gal water bringing initial 12 gal sparge runnings to 7 Brix (1.028)
Brought to boil, pitched hop charge and boiled 60 min. Collected 10 gal @ OG 8 Brix (1.032). Pitched with Safale 04 (5th generation). Ferment @ 65°F
Kegged on 10/10/2022 @ 1.010
