Notes
Brewed beer on 5/14/2022
OG:
Split batch same recipe with different yeasts.
OG was just where it was expected to be, however, we yielded approx 9.5 gallons, not 10. So efficiency was a little lower.
Batch 1) Yeast - Lallemand London English - Doug
Batch 2) Yeast - Wyeast 1968 London ESB Ale Yeast - Dana
Kegged my beer on 6/9/2022.
FG: 1.008
Finished a little lower than the calculated amount of 1.012 so my actual attenuation was 80% so I changed it in the calculations.
Ended up with about 9.5 gallons in the fermentors, a half-gallon less than expected, but at the expected gravity, 1.055.
The Belgian Candi syrup we used was homemade invert sugar.
