Mash around 155-160 for 60 mins (stove on low)
2.5 gal mash water, 1 gal sparge water with water additions divided up accordingly
0.86 chloride: sulfate ratio
Whirlpool at 175 degrees and let sit for 45 mins
Boiled at 8 heat on stove for 60 mins and ended up with just about 2 gal
2nd Red IPA:
mashed closer to 150 for 60 mins (on and off stove), 2.5 gal for mash and 1 gal for sarge
hopstand late addition, took the magnum and amarillo/centenniel that were in the boil and let them chill in the hopstand too
boil was about 40 mins stove temp at 8, turned up the stove temp to about 9 for last 15 or so to get 2.8 gal
