Notes
Efficiency way off, turned out to be the thermometer on the kettle. Final ABV came in at 4.67%.
Taste is smooth, like a good milk stout. Not bitter on the finish for my tasting. Vanilla is nicely presented as is the chocolate.
Next version would be good to drop chocolate to 1/3 and add a good amount of ginger and spices. This would make for a good ginger snap beer, a good alternative to the flavored beers being all porters
Ginger, cinnamon (at dry hop) and molasses (hop stand as not to adjust the fermentation but add the iron flavor?)
