Notes

West Coast leaning DIPA w/ some added oats for body/head retention. Got some local honey gifted to me so I decided to use it to make this a double.

Centennial + Columbus + Chinook in the boil/hop stand for the classic west coast bitterness, and hoppy flavor. Then Chinook + Mandarina Bavaria + El Dorado in the dry hop to give it some spicy/dank and fruity notes.

Cali V yeast is supposed to finish out a bit sweet. It is a big ester producer, showcasing notes of cherry and apple. It's also known to throw off sulfur, or have a long lag phase. In hopes to avoid this I'm tossing in a White Labs Yeast nutrient tablet and some Fermax. I'm also going to be making at least a 1.5L starter, and going to try my best to ferment around 65F.
