get 6 gallons of distilled water
bring 5.5 gallons to a boil
take off heat and add in the DME 1lb
start your 60 min boil with DME
add the Hallertau hops (1 oz) for the full 60 min boil
after 30 minutes, add the Hersbrucker for its 30 min boil
add the LME with 15 minutes left in the 60 minute boil
cool wort down to pitching temp.
add to fermenter and top off with left over distilled water if needed.
