Notes

-brewed on 3/19
-2nd gen yeast. Harvested yeast not flocculant enough? Check clarity after conditioning. Harvested yeast were still suspended after overnight rinse/settling. Change harvesting technique?
-found blue/green oxidized copper mash tun manifold night before brewing. Left it submerged in starsan in the mash tun cooler for 2 weeks, oops. Cleaned manifold with vinegar, salt and baking soda. Cleaned mash tun with oxiclean. Had to stir the boil the whole time, acted like 1 hr hot break. Not sure if there’s a correlation?
-mash temp 152-149
SG=1.046
OG=1.059
FG=1.009, ABV=6.5%
-fermented in 51-53F crawl space
-Dry hopped 3/24-3/27, used glass beads for first time to help mesh bag stay submerged. Use multiple hop bags next time, NTE 1 oz/bag.
-moved to 61F garage 3/31-4/2, VDK rest
-kegged on 4/2
-carbed at 11 psi
