Notes
English take on a light American IPA using English Malts and Yeast with balanced water profile slightly favoring malt. 500g Maltodextrine added later to boil.
Preboil pH = 5.44 . Up a little due to longer mash time (1ml phosphoric added).
Preboil effeciency up to 98% !
Pre maltodextrine:
OG = 1059
FG = 1014
ABV = 6%
IBU = 58.87
04-10-20
Racked and 180g Citra pellets added. Attenuation up to 80%:
OG = 1066
FG = 1016
ABV = 5.58
IBU = 69.22
12-10-20
Racked off hops. 1.5L loss. Finings added (200ml) and 500ml sterile water added.
29-1020 (34.2L)
Racked with 650ml loss. 500ml sterile water added with 250g Maltodextrine and 170g Dextrose , Citrulicious pouch (Hopburst) Bottled:
OG = 1059
FG = 1012
ABV = 6.14 (actual 6.39)
IBU = 66
