Mash in @ 142 for 45 min
added 12oz rice hulls to mash
15min pH 5.37 added 1/2ml lactic acid
heated slowly to 158 after first mash.
Did iodine conversion test 15 min into 158 rest and showed full conversion
Left for the planned 30min rest and then slowly ramped up to 168 for mash out with no additional "rest" at 162
mash pH @ mash out 5.5 ?????? took second sample and checked calibration. 5.5 still |

high on volume and SG so Boiled for 10min with NO hop additions and then pulled ~1/3-1/2 of the stainless bottle of wort for dip hop. added a little RO water to drop temp to 155. Added dip hops, sealed the bottle and placed in 170* 0ven.
Then started 60min boil timer and added 60min hops.

drained hop bag multiple times during late boil hop addition.
2 min into whirlpool , pulled hop bag
whirlpool for 10min total at med/slow speed
30min rest
KO 5.5 gal @ 64*
Added dip hop tea to fermentor at start of KO with yeast nutrient
