Notes

OG 1053. FG 1004.
S23 Slurrey 7th generation. Original 2 years old. 3L 3 day yeast starter. It was slow to get going but went down further than expected. I wanted a sweeter finish. This is very crisp and dry.
One of my best Lagers but not what I was trying to achieve. First time using chemicals / water chemistry. Possibly too much lactic acid making it quite dry.

29/08/2022: My first time treating the water.
This is my best lager to date. Wasn't quite the fruity lager I was going for with the late hop additions. Went down to 1.003 from 1.053 which was not expected.
Crystal clear. Nice head clinging to glass throughout. Has fruity citrus aroma. Dry refreshing slight grainy flavour. The Wife says its flavoursome, quite punchy with a slight pepper spice back taste.
