WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Bring 3+ gals to a boil for 10min to boil off any chlorine.
Turn off burner.
Have Separate kettle
Steep Grains for 25 min at 165
A lot of water will be absorbed by the grains- Have a separate kettle of boiled water to bring back up to 3gals
Turn off burner and slowly add DME, mixing toughly.
Add 3 drops of Foam Control and stir
Bring to a boil and start timer
Add Hops and wort chiller at 15min
Remove from heat. Cool wort to 80 (about 20min)
Pour into Fermenter and add water to fill to 2.5
Add 2 drops of Foam Control to prevent krausen from bubbling into air-lock/tube.
TAKE OG READING
Aerate wort before pitching full packet of yeast
Sanitize scissors before pitching.

Pitch yeast at 80
OG:1.042
Warm Ferment- Keep close to 70-75
Heater set 73 ECO. Ambient Temp 75

FOR BLUEBERRY ADDITION:
Add 2lbs of blended blueberries that have been pasteurized and brought down to room temp to secondary vessel. Rack beer that is 5 days into fermentation in ON TOP of berries (ie add berries to secondary vessel first).
Will go through a "secondary" fermentation because of added sugars from blueberries but will also continue out primary fermentation.
