Notes

Add cayenne via tincture. Getting the heat just right can be very difficult, so make a tincture (10g cayenne in 100g vodka) and taste it at different concentrations in pints of cheap beer (or milk stout, if you have it). Carbonation increases the sensation of spice, so using water for this may give you a bad read on your heat level.

The final product should not be perceived as "spicy", but more as warm and exciting to the palate.
